Massachusetts

Original home of the Pilgrims and Puritans, epicurean delights do not first come to mind when thinking about the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  However, do not be fooled.  Try a delicious slice of Massachusetts' official dessert, the Boston Cream Pie; or a locally made cranberry jelly.  How about some apple cider from a local orchard.  The Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory sees over 250,000 visitors per year.  Check out the factory tour and sample their crunchy, hand-stirred, kettle-cooked chips.

The New England Confectionary Company (NECCO) dates its start back to the summer of 1847.  It is the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States.  Remember NECCO wafers?  For more information about culinary adventure go to Massachusetts' official tourism site, "Massachusetts, It's all here."
